Dear members and friends of Slovenski Dom,

As summer draws to a close, we want to take a moment to sincerely thank each and every one of you who continues to bring life, spirit, and meaning to our community.

Your presence at events, your help with organizing, your volunteer work, and your everyday support all prove that Slovenski Dom is much more than just a building – it’s the heart of a community where Slovenian language, culture, and traditions are preserved and shared with pride.

The past few months have been full of life – from cultural evenings and workshops to summer picnics and folklore performances. Every smile, every song, every conversation has contributed to a rich and meaningful experience that connects and inspires us. None of this would be possible without you.

A Special Thank You to Our Volunteers

We want to give a heartfelt thank-you to all of our volunteers – from those who cook in the kitchen, to those who lead youth activities, clean our shared spaces, care for the garden, or manage the technical side of things. Your work may not always be visible, but it is the foundation of everything we do.

Looking Ahead, Together

As the new season begins, we’re already looking forward to what’s ahead – language classes, guest speakers from Slovenia, movie nights, holiday celebrations, and more. The connection we share gives us the strength to look forward and continue honoring the heritage passed down from our ancestors.

If you’re not yet actively involved, we warmly invite you to join us. Everyone is welcome, and every contribution counts – whether you have one hour a week or one hour a month to give. Together, we create a place where everyone feels at home.
